Planet Pluto's Tip-Top Albums 1985-2008.

Gorillavsbear did it, and I'm cuckoo for music pops, so why not me?

Join me if you fancy, and list your favorite albums from every year you've been alive.

Any of you that know me know that I associate things with years, and sometimes more specific dates or seasons. It's only right that I'd offer my best memories to you now. I haven't thought of most of these pre-2003, so they could be flawed. In fact, 1987 seemed devoid of any music I've listened to extensively. I mean there's George Harrison, Sonic Youth, The Smiths, Dinosaur Jr., R.E.M. and others in '87, but I just didn't know so I threw out one. In my musical domination, how did I forget about ol' '87? Plus, some years I listed a band or two or three afterwards in brackets as close calls/runners-up. The band I list first, however, is probably my favorite of the year. It became harder as I neared the end of the 90's and 2000's; I'm assuming this is because I listened to more music then as opposed to when I was tiny with tiny ears. Maybe I'll try this again in a year.

2008 (so far) Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes

Artists that garnered the most consideration throughout my years (whether it was written down or not): Tom Waits, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Pavement, Blur & Radiohead.
Finally, if I had to select a few favorite years for music, they'd be: 1994, 1997-2001, 2005-2007. Haha. That was so frivolous.
